Fat Loss Lie - Part 3
You can believe everything you read in the magazines.
You tend to trust what you read in the magazines or what you hear in the evening news because the news media and magazines have more credibility.
People unconsciously believed that if it’s printed in the magazines or on the news than it must be true.
Just as much as the news we hear is “planted,” much of the information on fitness and nutrition we read on popular fitness magazines is also planted.
Most of the bodybuilding and fitness magazines industry realized more money can be made by selling supplements than selling advertising or subscriptions.
As a result most fitness magazine publishers OWN the supplement companies and use their magazines as the main source for promoting their products.
There are so many articles that are about the latest, greatest breakthrough in supplements. These articles are nothing more than advertisement in disguise.
Even if a magazine doesn’t have interest in a supplement line, you still can’t count on them to reveal the whole truth. A full page ad in a high circulation fitness magazines cost tens of thousands of dollars, so the editor doesn’t want to write editorials that would upset or offend the advertisers.
Magazine’s best interest is to promote supplement like crazy because the more supplements are sold, the more the supplement companies will advertise and the cycle goes on.
There are so many lies about fitness and nutrition and you would be surprised at how many people, especially beginners believe every word they read in the fitness and nutrition magazines and spending thousand of dollars on useless supplements.
